Product description
Boron nitride coatings are widely used in gravity casting, low pressure casting and other industries. They play the role of anti-corrosion, lubrication and demoulding between non-ferrous molten metal and molds and carriers, avoid chemical corrosion, make it easy to release film, and prolong the life of molds and carriers. service life, while increasing production capacity, or as a protective agent for the isolation layer between molten metal and launders, effectively maintaining launders and their utensils.
Boron nitride coatings can withstand high temperatures up to 2800°C, and can maintain their unique stability, lubricity and non-stick properties even at extremely high temperatures, thereby effectively improving the effects of lubricating release and high temperature protection. The boron nitride coating has a unique formula, which is far superior to similar products of other brands in terms of anti-corrosion, lubricity, adhesion and wear resistance.
Boron Nitride Coatings
BN-C80 series has good adhesion to the mold and provides a longer-lasting mold release interface. In addition, the C80 series is also a lubricant with extremely fine particle size. It can be used at the joint of the mold and can protect the mold well.
The BN-C80 series is based on boron nitride. Its unique non-stick properties make the aluminum soup flow more smoothly. The application in the foundry industry can not only increase the fluidity of the aluminum liquid, but also the unique formula makes it more suitable for use than general release agents. Longer life and more demolds reduce the time needed to reapply release agent and increase throughput.
The BN-C80 series has excellent lubricity and oxidation resistance, and exhibits a high degree of non-wetting properties with melts such as copper, aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and glass. This series of coating products use deionized water as solvent and do not contain harmful impurity ions. The coating system is weak acid or weak alkali, which will not cause harm to the surrounding environment, and is an environment-friendly product.

Applications
BN-C80 type (high temperature release agent)
This type of coating is suitable for all kinds of mold release agents that need to work under high temperature, (this product can withstand high temperature of 2800 ° C). For example, glass industry, metal welding industry, etc., it can effectively lubricate and isolate the interface and make various processing processes. smoother. The sintering of metal and ceramic powders is usually carried out on a graphite plate. After a layer of boron nitride coating is applied on the graphite, the contamination, reaction and bonding of carbon to the sintered parts that may occur during the sintering process can be obviously removed.
Instructions
This product can be diluted with deionized water or distilled water. Customers should choose the appropriate consistency according to different use environments. After fully stirring and evenly, the paint is evenly brushed or sprayed on the surface of the mold with a brush (the coating should not be too thick) for good spraying effect. After the coating is dry it can be treated, smoothed and polished with a dry soft cotton cloth.
About the use of boron nitride coatings:
1. Clean the surface of the protected material, rinse and then spray boron nitride.
2. The thickness of the brush groove/furnace wall is about 23 microns after the new launder is diluted by 1:4; the thickness of the brush groove/furnace wall is about 20 microns after the old launder is diluted by 1:6.
3. Apply the diluted boron nitride paint on the surface of the material with a sponge (brush, spray gun), or adjust the dilution ratio as needed.
4. Dry at a temperature of about 300 ° C after coating, and use it after the coating is dry.
5. For inaccessible local coatings (such as the inner wall of thin tubes), the parts to be coated can be immersed in the diluted boron nitride coating, take out and let the excess coating flow out naturally, and use after drying.
6. The coating of boron nitride coating should be uniform, the surface should not be aggregated, and it should not be applied too thickly.
7. Note: The method of use is not fixed, you can experiment and deploy according to the products developed by the company!
Precautions for use
1. Stir well before use.
2. When coating, the surface of the mold should be clean to avoid leaving oil and dust to ensure that the coating can adhere.
3. The coating target needs to be preheated at about 70~150℃. Insufficient temperature will affect the coating effect a lot.
4. The spray thickness is about 15~30μm.
5. BN-C80 series has strong adhesion, and it has obvious lubricating and demoulding effect without coating too thick.
6. After spraying, directly heat the mold to the working temperature before use.
7. If the coating is too thick, it is easy to peel off.
8. The viscosity of the paint will change slightly with the change of the ambient temperature, which is a normal phenomenon.
Storage Precautions
This product is non-toxic and harmless. If it touches the skin, wash it off with water. Store in a cool, dry place.
If freezing or precipitation occurs, it will not affect the use effect of the product, and it can continue to be used after stirring evenly.
Avoid long-term storage in an environment below 0°C or above 50°C.
